They are tuned by simply rotating the head and hence, composers often write for them as tuned instruments. They are often combined with a standard drum kit to increase the range of the toms. This set from Percussion Plus includes three drums, 6", 8 and 10", along with a rail and stand. The robust stand is height adjustable and double braced with rubber feet making it sturdy and reliable.
